I actually should have done this earlier in the day but my internets were out at the house and stuff. My blog has moved to my website. I probably won't post pictures up here anymore as it gets time consuming doing double postings.

So please, by all means head on over to catescott.com and check out the new stuff. you will still be able to comment and you can even sign up to to have my site feed in to your rss or whatever. I don't know. I'm tired. Oh instant Update! Hunter just said that you subscribe to it. So subscribe because you can't follow like you can here. I am so busy tonight that i didn't have a lot of time to work with this little guy. I still had my set up from last night (thanks for the idea Michelle :)) which was good - that narrowed the prep time down considerably.

Oh, why am I so busy? Well I decided that it would be a good idea to start cleaning my half of the office. Yeah. In case you haven't figured it out I have some OCD issues. So now that i've started I have (HAVE) to finish it. and let me tell you that is not going to happen any time soon. (maaaybe by 2am)Maybe.

Oh, I also forgot to eat. Damnit - that's why my stomach hurts. Geez.

(Todd; KC is fine. She's twitching in her sleep behind me - I think she's dreaming about lifting weights or something)

Hi everyone!

Just letting you know that my blog will be officially moving soon. I have already started the process and it's going to take me some time as it's all very new to me. I have transferred most of the blog up until today to the new site
You will be able to do most everything you can do from here. Eventually the site will have a gallery, shop, and probably a few more pages. Don't start clicking on random pages at catescott.com as they won't really do much except link you to some generic non-Cate specific text. I mean if you are bored go ahead just don't expect much about me.
I will let you know when it is officially official. yes. I will. Oh, and you had better follow me over there :)

KC Fix of the day!!!

KC likes to roll in grass. All of the grass in Austin is dead. Excuse me, dormant (which means temporarily dead). It's dry and crusty. KC has a lot of fur. KC looks like dead grass after she rolls in it. I couldn't get her to smile for the full body shot but trust me. Grass. It also tracks inside. I have grass pants, grass shirt, grass chair, grass shoes, and a grass purse now. I am so green.

Okay, I definitely have a new photography passion. Photographing smoke. I used incense sticks as the source. I need to keep practicing but I don't think I did too bad considering this was my first time. I chose this picture for the photo of the day because of the creepy little skull that formed in the lower right quadrant of the photo. Seriously. Is it an omen? should I just go lock myself in the bedroom and wait for the Doom? I don't know but man it kind of freaked me out. Okay, so yes, a lot of stuff "freaks" me out but this is on another level entirely.

Yeah, so i'm done freaking out. I don't really get superstitious like that - thank goodness. Oh! If you click the picture you can see other shots from this series. I say series because it sounds more professional than "other pictures of smoke"

I wish today was Saturday. I have been so busy this weekend and now it's almost time for bed. So sad :(.

Also, I did not watch the superbowl.

Also. I have 6 loads of laundry waiting to be folded so I had better get going.

KC fix of the Day!!!

How could you not take your dog outside on a day like this? It was gorgeous today so KC and I spent a good part of the day outside. I even built my bookshelf outside just to be outside. KC was enjoying herself - she got to sniff some butts, see a baby, roll in the grass, eat dinner, run around a tree and get stuck because she is wearing her yard leash. Good times Good times.

I had just calmed her down from the baby sighting and she offered me her paw. She does this sometimes. Seemingly for no reason - offers you her paw. I have figured it out. It is when she wants your undivided attention. I had just been paying attention to the neighbors baby and KC got jealous. She does the paw thing to a)show off and b) her way of saying "LOOK AT ME! PLAY WITH ME! MAKE STUPID SOUNDS AT ME!" It works every time. damn dog and her cuteness.
